Chemical industry | Graphite 52MMIR 9000eMIR FTQAL 991, …

REGULATORY REMINDER

According to the latest WGC BREF published on December 6th, 2022, establishing the best available techniques (BAT) for common waste gas management and treatment systems in the chemical sector, under Directive 2010/75/EU, sites will have to comply with its conclusions by December 22nd, 2026 at the latest.

POLLUTANTS CONCERNED ACCORDING TO THE QUANTITY OF MATERIALS EMITTED:

  • CO: for any stack with a CO mass flow ≥ 2 kg/h
  • Dust: for any stacks with dust mass flow ≥ 3 kg/h
  • NOx: for any stacks with NOx mass flow ≥ 2,5 kg/h
  • SO2: for any stacks with SO2 mass flow ≥ 2,5 kg/h
  • TVOC: for any stacks with TVOC mass flow ≥ 2 kg C/h

These requirements correspond to continuous measurement in compliance with generic EN standards (EN 14181, EN 15267-1, EN 15267-2 and EN 15267-3). In practice, instruments must therefore be QAL1 certified.
