The battery insures the uninterrupted 24V supply to the analyzers for continuous air quality measurements. During sunny days, the solar energy is used directly by the analyzers. The excess is stored in the battery bank. Over the night and cloudy days, the station works on battery.
Energy Management System
An intelligent Energy Management System (EMS) controls the charge and discharge process and automatically redirects the excess solar energy to the battery bank for storage and use during the night and to compensate, some days, the lack of sunlight.
The solar panel converts sunlight into DC electricity to fed the battery via a solar regulator which ensures the battery is charged properly andnot damaged.
