15 Mobile Air Quality Monitoring Stations for the State of Maharashtra

Following our long term Cooperation with the State of Maharashtra, we are pleased to confirm the Award for Supply of 15 Mobile Air Quality Monitoring Stations which will suport the ambitious policy of the state in improving the Air Quality.

ENVEA has an extensive knowhow in designing turnkey monitoring solutions fully tailored to your needs. Although each system can be customized function of the environmental parameters to be measured, their usage purpose and the desired size, they can be classified as follows:

  • Classic, fixed monitoring stations – isothermal containers of various sizes
  • “HOT SPOT” monitoring stations – small size shelters
  • Mobile monitoring stations – mobile trailers (on wheels or not), trucks, vans, etc.

As standard, all stations are fitted to include the sampling system, the measuring equipment according to the pollutants aimed (ambient air quality analyzers), meteorological equipment, calibration system, data acquisition, processing and displaying, station control system etc.

ENVEA is one of the rare manufacturers of atmospheric pollution monitors to have in its portfolio a complete solution, including the XR® software for data acquisition, processing, supervision and reporting, able to handle networkly thousands of AAQMS stations and monitors in a town, city or region.

Data can be handled locally or transferred wirelessly in the cloud or to a central server for data management and overall supervision. Data forecasting to the public, via a specific website or street displays can be also offered.

About Maharashtra Pollution Control Board

Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) is an organization under the Department of Environment, Government of Maharashtra. The Board is responsible for ensuring that all norms under the Pollution Control Act, as stated by the Ministry, are adhered to by all relevant establishments in Maharashtra, which can, through their operations or processes, influence the natural environmental conditions. One of the charters of the Board is to monitor the levels of pollution in the atmosphere and take necessary measures to ensure a safe environment within its jurisdiction.

Maharashtra Pollution Control Board is monitoring Ambient Air Quality at selected locations in the State of Maharashtra under National Air Quality Monitoring Program (NAMP) and State Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Program (SAMP). The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is partly funding for NAMP and SAMP is funded by MPCB.
