Total mercury emissions monitor in stack flue gases

SM-5 mercury CEMS

Beneficiary of over 20 years of experience in mercury measurement, the new SM-5 CEMS Hg analyzer is designed to provide extremely accurate and reliable continuous measurements of very low concentrations of Hg in flue gas emissions.

The SM-5 features short response times, dynamic ranges and stable measurement under all circumstances.

QAL1 certification range 0-5 µg/m3, the lowest on the market
Aggiungi a Confronta
  • Continuous measurement of total mercury (elemental and ionic)
  • Additional certification ranges: 0-30; 0-45; 0-100; 0-1000 µg/m3
  • Certified to operate without calibrator: reliability & reduced operating costs
  • Dynamic range switching for reliable measurement of mercury emission peaks
  • High-temperature reactor allows measurement of very low concentrations
  • Photometric measurement independent of the high-temperature converter
  • Automatic backflush function
  • Interferent elimination (integrated acid trap)
  • Very low utilities consumption (no nitrogen required)
  • Low maintenance with reduced operating costs

Mercury CEMS monitor perfectly adapted for continuous mercury analysis in:

  • Coal fired power plants (after mercury absorbers)
  • Emissions monitoring for facilities under 13. and 17. BImSchV
  • Cement kilns
  • Sulfuric acid producing foundries
  • Waste Incineration plants (industrial, medical waste, sewage sludge…)
  • Thermal treatment of contaminated soils, hazardous waste
  • Metallurgical facilities with potential Hg emissions…
