ENVEA is a global company with business emphasis in Emissions, Process, and Ambient Air monitoring. ENVEA instrumentation is used in CEMS (Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems) for the compliance and process industries. ENVEA Inc., based in Geneva, Illinois, is searching for a National Sales Manager.


  • Manage and support our (4-5) regional business development managers. Assist with developing their actions within strategic planning and goal setting.
  • Development of product, client, and market relationships which are oriented on company sales growth.
  • Responsible for the structure and organization of the US sales team and appropriate delegation of tasks, leading all sales activities in accordance with overall business objectives, business plan and annual budget as well as instructions given by Senior Management.
  • Establish territory and regional sales goals, including monitoring, measuring, and adjusting sales areas and goals to ensure complete balanced coverage and sales of all company products.
  • Improve and optimize processes and policies in support of organizational sales goals and continuously monitor and control all ongoing sales opportunities.
  • Manage employee satisfaction and motivation within the sales department, set challenging objectives, while supporting, coaching, and challenging the sales team.
  • Maintain knowledge of current market and industry trends and technologies within the industries and applications to include knowledge of competitors products and pricing.


  • 5+ years of Experience/Technical Training on Gas Emissions Monitoring for the process and regulatory compliance industry. We are looking for understanding of emissions and process applications across multiple industries including cement, iron and steel, food, manufacturing, power, and utilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Technical Discipline a plus
  • Experience selling capital equipment or equipment with a longer sales cycle.
  • Diligent about working with and motivating national rep groups.
  • Understands the full potential of the ENVEA systems and instrumentation.
  • Experience running key performance indicators, measuring sales models and processes, and using CRM system(s).
  • Excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of being a top performer who has maintained or exceeded goals.
  • A self-directed and self-motivated individual who is highly disciplined and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%; position is based out of your virtual office
