Purpose

The role of the Marketing Assistant is to support the Head of UK Sales to deliver marketing activities that generate leads and support the UK Sales success.

Reports to: Head of UK Sales

Duties

  • Support the Head of UK Sales in the creation, design, and delivery of copy, images, infographics, videos and other media types as well as PR campaigns, MARCOMS, digital activities, social media and lead generation activities.
  • Support UK focussed events, seminars, expos etc in collaboration with the UK sales team including Co-ordinating and confirming registrations and
  • Create and maintain Datasheets and other marketing collateral as required using Photoshop, InDesign and other tools
  • Prepare Post, update and amend LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter posts with approved content
  • Communicate with all relevant 3rd party marcoms partners.
  • Distribute press releases via the different platforms
  • Act as a go-to point for incoming external marketing enquiries
  • Ensure existing Online content is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Manage email distribution lists including opt-outs and bounce-backs and report stats to the marketing team
  • Keep the marketing database up to date, importing new data, updating records and performing necessary cross-checks
  • Monitor Website analytics and report them as directed by the Marketing Com¬munications Manager.
  • Collate datasheets for shipping in response to Distributor requests
  • Monitor marketing stock levels of demonstration products and exhibition equipment
  • Assist with travel arrangements for the UK Sales & Marketing team including hotel bookings when required
  • Continuously improve marketing communications methods to engage with external and internal audiences as well as marketing procedures and processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience

  • Sales Office/customer facing/marketing experience would be an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office Products including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Experience in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud toolkit (InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Experience in the use of marketing tools and software

Skills/Abilities

  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Fast, accurate data entry skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good phone manner
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with customers, distributors and co-workers

Travel

The role is based at the head office in Swavesey, Cambridgeshire. Occasional travel to other Envea offices may be required to perform duties.
